AFCAT exams 2020

1- What is AfCAT exams?

Air Force common admission tests which is conducted by Indian air force . Both girls and boys can apply for the same .

2- What is the Process?

You'll need to fill an online form. Date to fill the forms are between 15th of June to 14th of July 2020.

Once you fill your forms , you will receive your admit cards in the mid of august or September

Admit card will consist the date , place and timings of the exams.

Exam dates- 19th of September and 20th of September 2020.  ( You need to give your exams on of the dates given above and in one shift}. 

Once you clear your exams there will be second stage- SSB interview

Third stage- medicals

Fourth stage- Training

3- What is the exam pattern?

Online test will be conducted in the centers  in the form of MCQs

There will be 100  questions each of 3 marks which brings us the total of 300. The paper will of 300 marks[ English, mathematics ,Gk and Logical reasoning] .If you are opting for technical officers there would be one more exam of 45 marks based on your engineering knowledge.

4-What is the eligibility critera and Qualificatons required?

A-FLYING BRANCH   [ELIGIBILITY]

 Age criteria- 20- 24 years 

To apply now- 2nd of July 1997 to 1st of July 2001 {if you have a Cpl license issued by DGCA, you will have a relaxation for two more years}

[QUALIFICATIONS]

1- Graduate in any stream - 60% and 12th physics and mathematics 50% in each. 

B- NON- TECHNICAL BRANCH   [ELIGIBILITY]

Age criteria - 20- 26 years 

To apply now- 2nd of July 1995 to 1st of July 2001

[QUALIFICATIONS]

1- Graduate in any stream -60% 

C- TECHNICAL BRANCH   [ELIGIBILITY]

Age criteria - 20 to 26 years

To apply now-  Same as non - tech branch

[QUALIFICATIONS]

1-Graduate in Bachelor of technology with 60% of marks and 50% 12th mathematics  and  Physics each.
